Shōyō Hinata, inspired by a legendary player known as "the small giant," joins his high school volleyball team despite his short stature. Teaming up (and initially clashing) with prodigy setter Tobio Kageyama, Hinata and the Karasuno High volleyball team rise through rivals and challenges, aiming to reach the top of high school volleyball.
