Kai Ichinose, the son of a prostitute, grows up in poverty on the outskirts of town. Despite his difficult upbringing, he discovers an abandoned piano in the forest and learns to play it with natural talent. When he meets Shūhei Amamiya, the son of a prestigious pianist, their worlds collide. Guided by their teacher Sosuke Ajino, both boys pursue the world of classical music, facing challenges, competitions, and their personal struggles as they grow into accomplished pianists.
