The series dives deep into questions of justice, punishment, and whether it’s ever okay to take lives for the greater good. What makes it even more powerful is that it doesn’t give you easy answers—you’re left to decide for yourself whether Light is a visionary or a villain.

Visually, Death Note is dark, moody, and atmospheric, perfectly matching its themes. The soundtrack adds tension to every moment, and the pacing is so tight that every episode feels vital. Personally, I was hooked from the very first episode—and it only gets better from there.
